Our Scout Troop meets on a Friday night, from 7 – 9pm, for ages 10½ – 14.
Our Scout Troop is run by an experienced, enthusiastic and supportive team of adult leaders, but with a strong youth-led approach. Our Scouts have input into the running of the section and have a say in the programme that we offer.
Throughout the year Scouts get to take part in a number of activities and the leaders are always looking for new ways to be able to offer the opportunity to experience new things.
Here is just a small list of what the Scouts have taken part in over the past years; Camping, Hiking, Fire Lighting, Survival Skills, Crossbow Shooting, Knots and Pioneering, Axe Throwing, Game Nights, Swimming, Badge Work, Debating, International Evenings, Fundraising, Rafting, Monopoly Run, Expeditions, Visits to Local Places of Interest, Shelter Building, Church Parades, Indoor Caving, First Aid, and much more!
