On January 2019, 11 Scouts and 2 Leaders from 9th Worthing joined the annual District camp at Tolmers Campsite for the Fire And Ice Winter Camp.
Although the temperatures remained largely below freezing all the Scouts had a fantastic time taking part in a wide range of activities including climbing, abseiling, caving, axe throwing, fair ground rides and many more!
All of the scouts came away saying how much fun they had taking part in new activities – many for the first time! Dan (Scout Leader) said “It was brilliant to see the Scouts enjoying themselves taking part in many different activities and making life lasting memories, the scouts made new many friends from district and beyond it was great to see them coming together as a team during the tough cold period”.
Make sure to keep an eye out for the date of the next 9th Worthing Camp!
