On Saturday 6th October 2018, 2 teams of Scouts from 9th Worthing will be taking part in the Downsman hike, a 15 mile hike across the South Downs.
The Downsman Hike is organised by a West Sussex Scouts Active Support Unit and is open to all members of The Scout Association and Girlguiding UK. The hike, which dates back to 1967, is a great challenge for youth and adult members alike.
9th Worthing Scouts have a support team in place for the day, who will be organising food for our teams throughout the day, transport to and from the hike, and support throughout. All members that complete the hike will receive a medal of completion.
